Clement Wins At Cowtown

Beechler, Polk, Clement finish one-two (click to enlarge) Shane Clement has reasons to celebrate his win Saturday night at Cowtown Raceway. Driving the #2 car for Polk Construction, Clement has been the most consistent performer in the SST season. He has more top fives than any driver but this is his first feature win of 2008. Finishing second was team mate Ron Beechler driving the Polk Construction #5. In third was Shane Carson driving the Outlaw Driving School #1.

Herring Dedicates Win To Son

Herring Wins at Grayson Cty- Click to enlarge Mike Herring driving the Babe's Chicken, Old Air Products, Bobcat of Dallas sponsored #99 got his first feature win of the 2008 season at Grayson county Speedway Saturday night and dedicated the win to his son Tate who passed away two months ago.

Beechler Wins At KSP

Beechler in victory circle- Click to enlarge Ryan Beechler driving the #67 won the SST 2008 inaugural non-wing event Saturday night at Kennedale Speedway Park. The first non-wing sprint car race held in this area for over 25 years saw a field of 28 SST sprinters vie for a starting spot in the 20 car feature lineup.
