Due to conditions beyond the control of the promoter, we have cancelled the SST event planned for Saturday night at 85 Speedway. The area received so much rain last week that it has been impossible to remove the water still standing on the track.
Racers who plan to race at Boyd, need to check in again with Smiley by Wednesday March 21st.
Dale Wester driving the #10 won the SST season opener at Mountain Creek Speedway in Grand Prairie Saturday night. Second spot went to Kenny Venable in #59 and third went to Gary Kelley in #12. Thirty SST drivers are now licensed to compete in the new merger of SST/RaceSaver and IMCA sanctions. The next SST event is scheduled for Saturday March 17th at 85 Speedway in Ennis.
