Raven Culp wins at KSP

Raven Culp driving the #39 won the SST A-Main event Saturday August 4th at Kennedale Speedway Park. Culp started on the fourth row outside and moved towards the front in a hurry. Drew Wright in #94 lead the early laps until Junior Jenkins took over and looked like he would easily take the win. A caution bunched the field and Culp charged around Jenkins, who had lost his power steering. Two other drivers, Jerry Hammock in #01 and Jason Howell in #44 made it a race moving from their 12th and 11th starting spots to finish second and third, respectively. The next scheduled event for the SST is Boyd Raceway on Friday August 17th.
